Data Backup & Preventive Maintenance

Here are various data backup options:
Memory Key
Use a memory key to store, transfer and transport your files from computer to computer. Purchase your own or see Debora who has 256 MB memory keys available for extended checkout.

CD Backup

Purchase blank CD-Rom's and use your CD burner on your computer to copy your files to a blank CD, every week or so. Keep the backup of your files away from the original source. In other words, keep your home computer backup at work and your work backup at hom.

Windows Briefcase

Place a "Briefcase" on your P drive and drag the folders you are currently using into that briefcase. Update it at least once a week.

Find your P drive by double-clicking on "My Computer". There you will find your various hard drives, floppy drives, CD drives, zip drives and Network drives, including the P drive .
