In preparation for Tuesday's synchronous session, we invite you to review the three different formats of the FLS101 course that we have taught over the last 10 years. As you review, please pay particular attention to the following:

  • Function/Format of the Introductory Meeting
  • Video - Difference in video quality, quantity, content and perspective
  • Role of Coursemates and Paired activities

2. View the 2004 syllabus or the 2008 syllabus. Note the video media type, sessions per week, separation of video segments; the video links no longer work on the course page so USE the sample links below:

3. Skim the 2008-Present Syllabus and then the Schedule. Note the differences in the schedule appearance/format between version 1 and 2, and version 3. Review Module 01, and Module 14 on the schedule, including one or two video segments from Module 14.
