10. What happens if my course mate is a slacker or drops the course halfway through the semester?
- It is the student's responsibility to maintain the coursemate relationship. After a second missed appointment please e-mail your coursemate and include profesora Despain's e-mail in the cc: line. Indicate in the e-mail that you will pursue finding a new coursemate who is as equally motivated and available to complete the activities. If behavior does not change and it becomes necessary to follow through arrange with a family member, co-worker, neighbor or friend who has at least a 101 knowledge of Spanish and who is willing to work with you through the rest of the semester. E-mail this new agreement, name and e-mail to profesora Despain jhdespai@ncsu.edu. New arrangements should be worked out as soon as possible so that you do not miss submitting assignments. The two lowest paired activity scores are dropped to help alleviate negative consequences with challenging situations.
