
Revised Bloom's Taxonomy
In 1956, Benjamin Bloom and other educational psychologists developed a statified taxonomy of levels of intellectual behavior important in learning. 1. Remembering

- knowledge of major ideas
- mastery of subject matter

2. Understanding
- grasp meaning
- translate knowledge into new context

3. Applying
- use information

4. Analyzing
- seeing patterns
- organization of parts
- recognition of hidden meanings

6. Creating, Synthesizing
