Biography

I earned a B.A. in Spanish from Wake Forest University in 1995 and a Masters in Spanish from NC State in 2012. I have been teaching Spanish for 20 years and it is my passion. I also serve as Director of VOLAR, Voluntarios Ahora in Raleigh, a student organization at NC State that facilitates community service in venues that serve the local Hispanic community. 

Extension and Community Engagement

Director of VOLAR: By participating in VOLAR (Voluntarios Ahora en Raleigh) students in FLS 202 and above perform community service with outreach organizations that serve the local Hispanic community.
