During the academic year of 2002-2003, I will be a Fellow xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx x x x x x   These are some of the questions I try to explore: What can you do when , xxxxxxxxxxxxx you don't have?  What kinds of things xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx?  What is the role of the Americas and its rich mines in the rise and fall of Hapsburg Spanish rule over Europe and overseas? Is it good to be able to xxxxxxxxxxxxxx in the Americas, or, on the contrary, does it have a bad effect on both the Spanish nation and its citizens?   I feel very fortunate to be able to use the xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxthat the Library of Congress owns.
