Here are three options for creating phonetic symbols in a web page

  1. Copy and past the following line of characters into your page and then copy and paste as needed:
    a͜-a a͜-e e͜-e i͜-e o͜-e u͜-e á͜-e é͜-e í͜-e ó͜-e ú͜-e ʎ ʝ ʒ ʤ ʃ tʃ β ð ɣ i̯ u̯ m ɱ  ̪͆n n̪ n ɳ ɲ ŋ ɾ r R ɽ θ ð̟ X ɸ ɽ ɪ ɛ æ ʌ ə ɜ ʊ ø ʔ ph

  2. Copy and paste from the Wikipedia IPA page.
  3. Download and install the IPA-SAMPA fonts on you computer in order for this to view properly

(If the characters do not appear correctly, try VIEW--->CHARACTER SET--->UNICODE (UTF-8) )
