• Print out the output for Norusis N2, Ch. 3. Be prepared to discuss, then turn in the output.
  The N2, Chapter 3 has no "Obtaining the Output" instructions section at the end. Rather, instructions are embedded in the chapters. Open space.sav and use Analyze, Descriptive Statistics, Crosstabs to create Figure 3-1, p. 45, but also ask for chi-square under Statistics. The follow the instructions on pp. 46 (but accept all the default Statistics options, not just Estimates), 48, 49 (remove prestige as a covariate before running; note p. 50's last paragraph has instructions for creating Figure 3-5, which must be done manually in output), 53, 54, and 61. Then for the last section of Chapter 3, you will need to load conditional_matched.sav, which is available at http://faculty.chass.ncsu.edu/garson/PA765/Download/conditionalmatched2.sav . Then follow the directions on p. 67, but for the Statistics button accept the defaults (which should include Estimates, Likelihood ratio tests, and Model-fitting summary.
