What are my goals as a postdoctoral fellow? The fact is many of us continue to need guidance with this question even after having successfully obtained a position. You probably wrote a statement of purpose when you applied for your position; perhaps you definitively answered this question on that occasion. But perhaps you are still uncertain about whether you chose the right lab, or even whether you belong in academia?
