ITALIAN PLACEMENT TEST

If you are beginning Italian as a new language, you should register for FLI 101. If you have previously studied Italian, you should take a placement test in order to determine the correct course in which to enroll.

Please click here for full information.

NOTE: Foreign language proficiency is a GEP requirement, that usually is met by your high school study. However, the FL _201 requirement is a college-level requirement by many colleges at NC State -please check with your advisor. You must complete FL_201, in however many semesters it takes you to get there. Your options include placement tests, transfer scores, or starting at the FL_101 level.
